Kyrgyzstan ends state of emergency, but introduces quarantine in Bishkek, Osh cities

AKIPRESS.COM - The state of emergency and curfew introduced in some parts of the country end on May 10, however the emergency situation declared on March 22 remains in force, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said.
Sanitary and quarantine posts will still be there until the epidemiological situation stabilizes in Kyrgyzstan. Travelling from one region into another will still be restricted, and control will be strengthened.
Quarantine will be introduced in the cities of Bishkek and Osh, At-Bashi district of Naryn region, rural district of Kanysh-Kyia in Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad region due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Public transportation will not resume operation yet, though taxis are allowed to work.
In quarantine, the road posts will be re-installed inside Bishkek to control movement of people. Only employees of those enterprises allowed to work in emergency situation can move freely in the city.
From May 11, the following economic activities are allowed to resume operation: financial services (microfinance institutions; insurance companies; pawnshops; currency exchange offices; real estate agencies; travel agencies; law firms; printing services), household services to the population (plumbing, electrical and carpentry works; repair of household appliances, machines, devices and appliances; dry cleaning and cleaning); trade (shops and markets for construction materials; markets for auto parts, bicycle parts, components, oils and paints; stores selling fabrics, fittings and other accessories for the garment and leather industries; car dealerships, except for car markets) and mass media.
