AKIPRESS.COM - Rallies, assemblies and mass events are prohibited in At-Bashi district since May 11, Naryn region governor Emilbek Kaptagaev told a briefing today.
The imposed quarantine entails certain restrictions in At-Bashi and Acha-Kaindy rural municipalities of At-Bashi district since today and until further notice. The sanitary and quarantine checkpoints have been set up at entry points to Ak-Jar, At-Bashi and Acha-Kaindy vilages, he added.
Food stores will opeate until 7.30 p.m. Stores selling spare car parts, construction materials, beauty and hair salons, car service centers will be open until 6.00 p.m. The local market will be open from 9.00 am until 2.00 pm, the governor said.
8 observation points will continue their work. Control over contacts and home quarantined citizens will be tightened, the governor added.
Such actions followed after a big number of coronavirus cases was confirmed in At-Bashi distict and are aimed to prevent further spread of the infection.
On May 9, citizens of Acha-Kaindy village rallied outside the local government building in protest against the state of emergency and massive COVID-19 testing, Turmush reported.
