Above 2 million citizens of Uzbekistan want to get back from Russia

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 2 million citizens of Uzbekistan want to return back from Russia. This is impossible to arrange with the chartered flights, Botirjon Shermuhammad, lawyer working in Russia, told Kun.uz.
"One plane can accommodate only 250 people. The number of those registered to depart surpassed 10,000 a long time ago. Many flights should be made to transport at least those who have registered already," the expert said.
Most citizens will have to stay in Russia, they won't be able to depart. Botirjon Shermuhammad explains to compatriots that flights may be resumed by the time their turn in the list comes.
It was announced earlier that children, pregnant women, elderly and sick people will be transported at first. The expert calls citizens to be more responsible to wait until the end of the pandemic in order not to contract virus during travel.
7 chartered flights from Russia to Uzbekistan are plannced from May 14 to 23.
Uzbek authorities said 12 chartered flights will be made in future in total to evacuate citizens from abroad.
