Growth in Kyrgyzstan declined by 5% without Kumtor in calculation

AKIPRESS.COM - GDP of Kyrgyzstan in January-April amounted to 149 billion soms and decreased by 3.8% yoy in January-April 2020, according to the data of the National Statistics Committee.
Excluding the Kumtor gold mine in calculation, the GDP in January-April 2020 amounted to about 129 billion soms and decreased by 4.6%.
Kumtor contributes around 10% into the Kyrgyz economy.
