Uzbekistan plans to partially resume air and train service

AKIPRESS.COM - The resumption of domestic flights between Tashkent and Nukus, Urgench and Termez, Afrosiyob train service to Samarkand, Navoi, Bukhara, Karshi and train service to Ferghana valley is planned in Uzbekistan. This information came from the videoconference held by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 13 on further loosening of quarantine restrictions.
The President said the pandemic still persists, but several countries are gradually loosening quarantine restrictions.
"The world community is coming to conclusion that it is necessary to learn to live and work amid pandemic, since vaccine and medicine from coronavirus are yet to be found. We also began easing quarantine requirements, keeping a stringent control over epidemiological situation and will follow this policy consistently," Mirziyoyev said.
