Former Director of State Communications Agency of Kyrgyzstan arrested

AKIPRESS.COM - Former Director of the State Communications Agency of Kyrgyzstan Natalia Chernogubova was apprehended May 12 by an interdepartmental investigation group comprising the Military Procurator's Office and the National Security Committee, said spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office Nargiza Kuvatova.
Probe into corruption was launched on April 7, she said.
The leadership of the State Communications Agency in collusion with one of the mobile operators and employees of the State Committee of Technologies and Communications reissued a license of the operator due to changes in standards in violation of the current communications and licensing laws.
Chernogubova was taken to the temporary detention facility of the National Security Committee.
