Health Ministry’s leadership left for Naryn to inspect infection sources

AKIPRESS.COM - A special commission is working on unfavourable epidemiological situation in Naryn and inspecting infection sources, said the Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev on May 15.
"The Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karatayev and head of the Health Ministry's Public Health Department Ainura Akmatova headed to the Naryn region. All infection cases have already been identified, the corresponding decisions will be made," said Usenbayev.
Usenbayev also noted that the maternity department may be transferred to another building.
"It is necessary to take all necessary measures to prevent the further spread of infection in the hospital," Usenbayev said.
15 cases of COVID-19 were identified in Naryn region on May 14, including 1 medical worker, 8 women in labor, 6 contact persons.
