Kyrgyz musicians perform anthem of European Union on traditional instruments

AKIPRESS.COM - Musicians of the Muras folklore band performed Ludwig van Beethoven's Ode to Joy on Kyrgyz traditional instruments.
"We invite you all to enjoy Kyrgyz version of the Ode to Joy. This masterpiece and an official anthem of the European Union was performed on Kyrgyz instruments by the talented artists of the folk ensemble Muras on the occassion of the Europe Day which was celebrated in the European Union on 9 May. Indeed, music and talents have no borders!" the EU office in Kyrgyzstan reports.
The composition was performed on instruments: temir ooz komuz, chopo choor, sybyzgy, kyl kyyak, komuz, dobulbas and cello.
