AKIPRESS.COM - More than a thousand portions of pilaf were cooked by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow for Russian medical workers, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said on May 15.
As part of the project #thankyou for saving our lives!, the portions of pilaf were distributed among medical professionals working at different hospitals in Moscow.
Citizens of Uzbekistan staying at hostels in Moscow waiting for the chartered flights to Uzbekistan and those citizens infected with COVID-19 also received pilaf.
In April 2020, Kindness and Support Foundation was set up in Uzbekistan. The Foundation administers the donations and funds for support of people in a difficult life situation due to coronavirus pandemic.
