Mongolia reports 37 new COVID-19 cases, 135 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - 37 COVID-19 cases were confirmed among 205 citizens of Mongolia, who returned from Russia. The total number of confirmed cases reached 135, Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Research Center for Communicable Diseases, told a briefing today. 205 citizens of Mongolia returned from Russia on May 15. They were taken to the observation point immediately after arrival.
193 people were tested for COVID-19 and 37 of them had positive results.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Mongolia grew for 93 cases this week. They included 55 cadets evacuated from Russia and a citizen, who arrived from Frankfurt.
All confirmed cases are imported. 20 patients recovered already. No lethal cases were registered.
