Total of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan rises to 2,753

AKIPRESS.COM - Seven new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Uzbekistan last night. The total number of confirmed cases reached 2,753, the Ministry of Health said.
The new cases included 2 long-haul truck drivers, 3 citizens who returned from St. Petersburg, 2 cases among people quarantined at hospitals.
15 cases were confirmed on May 17 in total, they included 8 in Tashkent, 5 in Andijan region, 2 in Bukhara region.
2,247 patients recovered. 12 patients died.
