AKIPRESS.COM - The nation-wide operative team for coronavirus prevention decided to send most of evacuees from Sol-Iletsk to home quarantine due to the situation in Semetei observation area.
19 citizens will remain under medical supervision, as they were in close contact with the newly infected 43 people in the observation.
The medical workers in the observation area will work normally until May 22. The doctor responsible for the observation will work until June 7 according to the Health Ministry's order.
Previously, Health Ministry reported that mass disorders occured in the observation area. "They are very aggressive. They attacked doctors, ambulance employees were hurt, rioters wanted to flip over the ambulance car," the statement said.
To date, 423 citizens who arrived from Sol-Iletsk are in the observation point. The incident occurred due to the unconfirmed information that state infectious hospital sent infected people who had previously arrived along with other citizens to home quarantine.
541 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were evacuated from Sol-Iletsk on the Russian-Kazakh border on May 7.
Prior to this, Usenbayev reported that some of evacuated citizens tried to run away from the observation point and refuse to obey medical professionals.
