Quarantine remains in effect in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said despite some loosening, the quarantine remains in effect in the country.
"Despite a positive dynamics in fight against coronavirus, the threat of its spread persists. I urge citizens to take precautionary measures, especially in public places, for health considerations. The quarantine regime will remain in effect despite loosening of restrictions," President Tokayev said on Twitter.
It was announced today that sales outlets more than 500 sq m in size, hotels, public catering facilities will be reopened in Almaty since May 25.
