Kazakhstan allows transit of 1,100 Uzbek citizens stranded on Russian-Kazakh border

AKIPRESS.COM - The transportation of citizens of Uzbekistan standed on the Russian-Kazakh border to Uzbekistan was negotiated with Russian and Kazakh authorities, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The Embassies of Uzbekistan in Moscow and Nur-Sultan, Consulates in Kazan and Aktau made the lists of Uzbek citizens staying at the Mashtakovo point on the Russian-Kazakh border. The organizational and transportation issues were solved.
1,100 citizens of Uzbekistan will be evacuated from the Russian-Uzbek border. Transportation of 550 citizens on May 18 and 19 by buses has been arranged. They will stay under quarantine for 14 days upon return to Uzbekistan.
