Kyrgyz government to reinstate tough restrictions in case of deterioration of epidemiological situation

AKIPRESS.COM - "In case the epidemiological situation in the country gets worse, we will have to reinstate tough restrictions," First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said today.
Several kinds of business and organizations will reopen since May 21 and 25, which should strictly adhere to all sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the First Vice Prime Minister underlined.
"I said this earlier and will repeat again: spread of the infection or its elimination depends not only on medical professionals or government officials. This depends upon all citizens, on their behavior and compliance with the requirements. If the epidemiological situation worsens, we will have to reinstate restrictions," he said.
The First Deputy Prime Minister asked people in Kyrgyzstan not go outside without essential reasons and refrain from taking a walk in parks.
"The number of people in the streets is growing every day. We can say the risk of contagion persists and it is high. We need to comply with the requirements, wear masks, use personal protective items," Boronov said.
Bishkek, Osh, Jalal-abad and several districts of Kyrgyzstan had the state of emergency and curfew until May 11. The emergency situation is still in effect across the country.
