AKIPRESS.COM - Citizens of Leilek district were warned about the coming heavy rains that caused mudflows, Minister of Emergency Situations Zamirbek Askarov said at the meeting of the International Affairs, Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament.
"We warned people via local media, SMS alerts," the Minister said.
Many houses were built unlawfully in the places where traps for mudflows were set up, the Minister said.
