Personal data security agency to be set up under IT and Telecommunication Committee

AKIPRESS.COM - An agency for personal data security will be set up at the State Information Technologies and Telecommunication Committee, Committee Chairman Dastan Dogoev said in Parliament today during consideration of the amendments to the law on e-governance.
The draft resolution has been prepared already, Dogoev said.
"At first, it was suggested to set up such agency under the government, but in the course of discussions the decision was made to establish such agency under the IT Committee. This work is underway," Dastan Dogoev said.
