Construction of 46-km-long canal 60% complete in Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - The construction of the canal R4 is 40% complete in Batken region, Turmush reported.
The canal is 46 km long. Its construction is financed on China's grant.
Upon completion of construction, 1,200 ha will be supplied with irrigation water and supply of 1,543 ha of agricultural fields with water will be improved.
The total budget of the construction is 500 million soms ($6.25 million).
