AKIPRESS.COM - To date, 27 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the Batken region, said deputy governor f the region Chynara Osmonova at the briefing on May 21.
According to her, the majority of cases are imported by citizens who returned from abroad. 19 people arrived from abroad, including 1 case - a resident who arrived from minor Hajj, 7 people arrived from Tajikistan, 2 people arrived from Kazakhstan, 9 truck drivers who arrived from Russia.
20 out of 27 infected citizens recovered, 7 people continue treatment. "To date, 7 people were isolated, 51 people are under observation. 6063 people have been quarantined at home since the introduction of state of emergency. 39 mobile teams worked with them. In total, 8,860 people tested for coronavirus in the region. 210 people were kept in the isolation wards and 1, 484 citizens were in observation points," Osmonova reported.
Osmonova noted that 261, 636 citizens have crossed the border through 5 checkpoints in the region since the introduction of state of emergency and all of them were examined by health workers.
