Total of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan passes 3,000

AKIPRESS.COM - Thirty nine new COVID-19 cases were confirmed by 10.00 a.m. on May 22 in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health said.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 3,006.
5 cases were confirmed among people quarantined at medical facilities, 6 cases were confirmed among long-haul truck drivers who returned from abroad. 28 cases were local, 13 in Samarkand region and 15 in Navoi region.
All contacts of the confirmed cases were quarantined.
2,407 coronavirus patients recovered.
586 patients remain in hospitals, 4 of them are in critical condition.
