Total of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan reaches 3,180

AKIPRESS.COM - Sixteen new COVID-19 cases were confirmed by 10.00 am on May 25 in Uzbekistan.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 3,180, the Ministry of Health said.
The 4 new cases were confirmed in Karakalpakstan among truck drivers returning from abroad and one border guard.
Five cases were confirmed in Samarkand region.
One customs officer in Tashkent region tested positive for COVID-19.
The rest 6 cases were confirmed among those held in the quarantine center.
2,565 patients recovered. 602 patients remain in hospitals. Three of them are in serious condition.
