Asel Koduranova steps down as SDPK party acting chair, several members quit SDPK

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Asel Koduranova stepped down as SPDK party acting chairperson. She was succeeded by MP Anvar Artykov, SDPK secretariat said.
The 24 members of the political council of the party convened on May 26 to discuss the situation within the party.
MP Riskeldi Mombekov and Kunduz Joldubaeva stepped down as SPDK vice chairpersons. They suspended membership in the political council, but still remain party members.
MP Irina Karamushkina, vice chairperson of the party, suspended membership in the political council and the party.
Meerbek Miskenbaev, Adil Turdukulov, Mirbek Aitikeyev, Kunduz Ajibekova quitted SDPK party.
A part of the party leaders, its founder Almazbek Atambayev among them, are involved into the criminal probe into the Koi-Tash events.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Sagynbek Abdrahmanov is leader of SDPK. The party was re-registered on 16 September 2016.
