Uzbekistan pays over $14 million as incentives to medical professionals on Covid-19 fight frontline

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 142.9 billion soums (above $14.1 million) were paid in incentives to medical professionals fighting on Covid-19 frontline in Uzbekistan up to date, the Ministry of Finance said. The payments were made from the anti-crisis fund at the Ministry of Finance.
During the checks on May 15-18, the Public Financial Control Department under the Ministry of Finance disclosed the delay in payment of incentives to 932 workers of 32 healthcare organizations in the amount of 19.6 billion soums ($1.9 million).
All irregularities unveiled during the checks were addressed. All medical professionals were paid in full.
