Kawasaki's disease not registered in Kyrgyzstan – Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - To date, no cases of Kawasaki's disease have been reported in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbayev on May 28. "This is well-known disease and no cases of Kawasaki have been reported in our country. We've been living in coronavirus pandemic conditions for the last 3 months and Kawasaki disease has not been registered in the republic," he said.
Kawasaki disease is a syndrome of unknown cause that results in a fever and mainly affects children under 5 years of age. It is a form of vasculitis, where blood vessels become inflamed throughout the body. The fever typically lasts for more than five days and is not affected by usual medications
