Epidemiological situation in Naryn region is under control - Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The epidemiological situation in Naryn region is under control, said the head of the public health department of Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova at the press conference in Naryn on May 28.
"Naryn received PCR tests. A woman in labor became the source of infection in Ak-Tala district and medical workers had a lack of medicines. However, the situation is under control.
The virus carriers were detected in the state administration. The virus spreads due to the fact that contact persons were not identified on time. Now, we found all the contacts and isolate them. Newly detected cases are all contact persons, Akmatova said.
To date, 297 cases were recorded in Naryn region:
- Naryn town - 175;
- Ak-Tala district - 19;
- Naryn district - 1;
- At-Bashi district - 77;
- Kochkor district - 11;
- Jumgal district - 14.
