President Tokayev orders to optimize expenses of Kazakh armed forces

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart-Tokayev gave several tasks to Defense Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev, Akorda reported.
Defense Minister Yermekbayev reported to the President about ongoing optimization of the structure of the army of Kazakhstan, check of condition of armament and military equipment, military training of troops, automation and digitalization of the Defense Ministry. The Defense Minister also outlined major infrastructure projects, development of a new image of the armed forces of the country in view of the existing risks and threats, possible involvement of servicemen in liquidation of emergency situations.
President Tokayev ordered to continue the efforts on further increase of defense capacity of the country, to optimize expenses, to improve education of servicemen, Akorda reported.
