JICA to hand over essential medical equipment to Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Japan International Cooperation Agency plan to hand over medical equipment and supplies for Covid-19 fight, including personal protective equipment, artificial pulmonary ventilation devices, digital X-ray equipment, the Embassy of Japan in Tashkent said.
The sum of this grant is yet to be determined, but it may exceed $7 million, the Embassy said.
The Embassy of Japan is also considering the request of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan to provide educational DVD programs on history, nature, science and technologies of Japan for online classes, Gazeta.uz reported.
