Domestic tourism resumes since June 1 in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the order on urgent measures of support of tourism to mitigate the negative impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the document, domestic tourism will resume in regions having green and yellow quarantine status since June 1. Tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, cultural sites, sightseeing spots will resume operation in strict compliance with sanitary protocols.
Outbound tourism will be resumed gradually.
Since May 8, one of the three levels of quarantine - red, yellow or green - is in effect in Tashkent and the regions of Uzbekistan depending upon the epidemiological situation.
Yellow level of quarantine is in effect in the regions where COVID-19 cases were not confirmed during the last 14 days, but where coronavirus patients still remain in hospitals.
Green level of quarantine is in effect where no COVID-19 cases were confirmed or where all patients recovered.
