India sends humanitarian aid to Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Government of India airlifted 4.6 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan to support the efforts of the country in COVID-19 fight.
The humanitarian aid was handed over by Ambassador of India Viraj Singh right at the airport on May 28.
A citizen of Tajikistan traveled on the same plane, who studied in India under ITEC Program.
On May 27, the Government of India arranged transportation of Tajik citizens stranded in India to Dushanbe and evacuated Indian national stuck in Tajikistan. 45 citizens of Tajikistan returned to Tajikistan and 286 nationals of India were airlifted from Tajikistan to India.
