Kyrgyzstan bans driving heavy trucks during daytime at temperatures above 28C

AKIPRESS.COM - A temporary restriction on the movement of trucks on public roads in the Kyrgyz Republic is introduced from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from June 1 to September 1, 2020, when the daytime air temperature reaches 28°C or higher, the Ministry of Transport and Roads ruled. The decision was made in order to ensure the safety of public roads and to extend their life span.
The Agency of Road, Waterway Transport and Weight Control is instructed to prohibit the movement of heavy and large vehicles with a maximum weight of 18 tons.
Explanatory work with individuals and legal entities carrying out cargo transportation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic must be conducted, the Ministry ruled.
