AKIPRESS.COM - The body of an Indian student who drowned in Osh will be sent home June 1, said director of the regional forensic medical bureau Arap Kojobayev.
The body will be delivered on board of the Bishkek-Delhi plane.
On May 29, a forensic examination was conducted, no signs of violent death were found, Kojobayev said.
Since January 2020, the bodies of three foreign nationals who died in Kyrgyzstan were sent home: a Russian citizen, a Ukrainian citizen and a Turkmen citizen, Kojobayev said.
The body of a foreign student was found in the Ak-Buura river in Osh at 9:30 in the morning on May 29. Eyewitnesses said the student was drinking alcohol together with his 2 roommates. At around 3:30 am, the three went out, one of them fell into the river. He was a junior student of the Osh State University majoring in medicine.
