AKIPRESS.COM - Since May 20, a temporary restriction on the crossing the border for persons, goods, vehicles and animals has been introduced in the Kulundu-road and Kairagach-road checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, according to the government's order signed May 20. On May 8, a conflict broke out over the land use between residents of Kyrgyz and Tajik border villages in the disputed area in Kok-Tash village, Batken region leading to rock throwing.
Three soldiers and one civilian were injured in the incident, one house was partially burned down.
