Newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan arrives in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Khurshid Mirzakhidov has been appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan. He arrived in Bishkek on May 30, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
Mirzakhidov, 49, graduated from the Tashkent Electric Technical Communications Institute, Higher Business School under the Academy of Public and Social Development under the President of Uzbekistan.
During 2009-2010 he was First Vice Chairman of the National Broadcasting Company, then First Deputy Director General of the Uzbek Communication and Informatization Agency.
In 2012, he became the Director of the Uzbek Communication and Informatization Agency, which later was transformed into the State Communication, Informatization and Telecommunications Committee and then the Ministry for Information Technologies and Communications.
In February-August 2017, he was Chairman of the National Broadcasting Company. In October 2017, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Road Committee.
