AKIPRESS.COM - The International Affairs, Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan is hearing the Kyrgyz government's report on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border incident of May 31.
Deputy Prime Minister Akram Madumarov is presenting a report.
He has asked to consider the matter behind the closed doors.
The Kyrgyz-Uzbek border incident occurred on May 31 over use of the shared water source Chechme-Sai. The spring lies in Chechme village, Birlik rural municipality, Kadamjai district of Batken region. The conflict between Kyrgyz and Uzbek citizens occurred at around noon. When the exchange of heated arguments evolved into stone throwing into each other.
