13 children in Kyrgyzstan adopted by foreign nationals in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - 1,055 children were placed in foster care in Kyrgyzstan in 2019, according to the National Statistical Committee.
713 children were adopted last year, including 700 children adopted in Kyrgyzstan by local families and 13 children adopted by foreign nationals.
More than 2,000 orphans and children remaining without parental custody were staying in orphanages and boarding schools in 2019 across Kyrgyzstan.
