AKIPRESS.COM - The chairperson of the board of trustees of the Zamin Foundation, first lady of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva introduced the programme for development of education for children with hearing impairments on occasion of the International Day for Protection of Children. The project foresees provision of special schools with modern aiding instruments, equipment and improvements in educational methods and teaching techniques, the foundation's press service reported.
"The work on students' hearing recovery with the use of surgeries will be conducted on regular basis. Children with special needs will be able to hear voices of their loving mothers, attentive fathers, the sounds of the world around us, the music like any other person and live a normal life," the foundation's representatives said.
The international Public Foundation "Zamin" headed by Ziroat Mirziyoyeva began to work in spring 2020. It has already provided financial aid in the amount of $500,000 to 5,000 Uzbek women. The main aim of the Foundation is stable development of the country and improvement of living conditions for population.
