Turkmen, Iranian officials exchange views on disinfection of border checkpoints

AKIPRESS.COM - Representatives of the Turkmenistan-Iran Joint Working Commission held a video conference meeting on border checkpoints on May 30, the official Turkmen media reports.
The sides exchanged views on control of construction works and the commissioning of decontamination and disinfection facilities that are under construction at Sarakhs-Sarakhs, Artyk-Lutfabat and Altyn Asyr - Incheburun border checkpoints.
The meeting participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the operation mode of the facilities and the procedure for the direct transportation of relevant goods through them.
The Turkmen side was represented by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Ministry of Construction and Architecture, Türkmendemirýollary (Turkmen Railways) State Agency, State Border and Customs Service and from other relevant departments of the country.
