AKIPRESS.COM - Three patients with coronavirus died in Kyrgyzstan within 24 hours, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said on June 3 briefing.
Two died from coronavirus in Osh region and one in Naryn region.
A native of Kara-Kulja district, 59, died at the Osh interregional hospital on June 2. He was a pediatrician. He contacted the people infected with COVID-19. The man had diabetes. He was transported to the interregional hospital after his condition worsened.
Another victim is a 55-year-old native of Nariman village, Kara-Suu district of Osh region. He returned from Russia, he developed pneumonia. The patient had cardiovascular disease.
An 84-year-old man died from coronavirus in Naryn regional hospital. On May 9, he was hospitalized and on May 25 he was transferred to intensive care as his condition worsened. On June 2, the patient died. The patient had ischemic stroke, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure.
These 3 cases bring the total number of Covid-19 linked deaths in Kyrgyzstan to 20 as of June 3, he said.
