Tajikistan increases number of virology labs

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 15,600 citizens of Tajikistan were tested for COVID-19 due to the increased amount of virology labs in Dushanbe in May. This information came from the meeting of the nation-wide operative team for COVID-19 containment, Avesta reported.
Minister of Health and Social Security Jamoliddin Abdullozoda reported about epidemiological situation in the country and added that in general 300-400 are discharged from hospitals after recovery every day.
Virology labs in Khujand, Bokhtar and Kulob and their trained specialists will improve epidemiological situation in Tajikistan, the Minister said.
With the purpose of improvement of treatment of coronavirus patients, 168 healthcare organizations in 56 towns and districts received 212 medial equipment units, 11 titles of persontal protective equipment and 60 titles of medications.
