Torugart checkpoint starts working for cargo transportation from June 8

AKIPRESS.COM - Following bilateral negotiations between the Kyrgyz and Chinese sides, it was agreed to restore the Torugart checkpoint from 8 June 2020, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
At the initial stage, the checkpoint will work for mutual cargo transportation between Kyrgyzstan and China only.
More details on opening and functioning of the Torugart checkpoint will be agreed additionally in the near future between the authorities of the two countries.
