Only Kyrgyzstan has 42,500 hectares of walnut endemic forest

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament is considering the draft law on cultivation of walnut plantations in the Kyrgyz Republic in the second reading on June 4.
Eldiyar Sheripov, deputy head of the state agency for environmental protection and forestry, said Kyrgyz walnut is considered a brand.
Kyrgyz walnut is well known in the global market and sells pretty well.
Only Kyrgyzstan has 42,500 hectares of walnut endemic forest, he added.
