President Jeenbekov holding virtual meeting with region governors and mayors

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today is holding a virtual meeting with the region governors, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, the president's press service reported.
The aim of the virtual conference is discussion of relevant issues of development of the regions and digitalization of the country, the efforts to contain COVID-19 in the regions.
State Information Technologies and Communication Committee Chairman Dastan Dogoev will make presentation on role and opportunities of advanced digital technologies amid pandemic. Minister of Education and Science will report on prospects and shortcomings of remote learning.
The region governors, the mayors of Bishkek and Osh will provide information on progress of implementation of the digital transformation state policy and the actions taken to contain coronavirus infection and address its negative impact.
