AKIPRESS.COM - The control over the movement of heavy vehicles was tightened in order to prevent entry of the infection into the country, said Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbayev on June 5.
Usenbayev said truck drivers are in a risk group which may cause a problem. Therefore, a special algorithm was developed for them.
"All drivers must took PCR tests at the entrance. Truck drivers should stay under home quarantine for 14 days even they tested negative for coronavirus. They may return to work only after repeated negative tests," Usenbayev said.
PCR analysis result can last for 7 days. We decided to issue certificates to international truck drivers in order to facilitate passage through checkpoints, Usenbayev said.
