255 million soms allocated for doctor's compensation involved in fight against COVID-19 - Government

AKIPRESS.COM - 255 million soms were allocated for payment of compensation to medical workers involved in the fight against COVID-19, Vice Prime Minister Erkin Asrandiyev said at the parliament committee meeting on June 9.
The premiums were paid off in March, April, May, he added.
Asrandiyev also said that 2 accounts were opened for voluntary contributions:
Health Ministry's account received 138 million soms, most of the funds were used to pay compensation to doctors;
Labor Ministry's account received 17 million soms, the funds were allocated to provide humanitarian assistance to citizens.
