President Jeenbekov pays tribute to victims of June 2010 ethnic violence in Osh

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today paid tribute to victims of 2010 ethnic violence in Osh on the first day of his 2-day working visit to Osh region. The President laid flowers at the Tears of Mothers memorial complex.
President Jeenbekov offered condolences to relatives and family members of the victims.
The June events remind about necessity to preserve integrate state and to keep inter-ethnic peace, the President said.
"We are the nation of different ethnic groups, who live in harmony for centuries, unity and fraternity. Our ancestors lived in peace having created a glorious history of the ancient city of Osh. Each of us must keep inter-ethnic peace and accord. We will develop our country together," President Jeenbekov said.
