AKIPRESS.COM - The Business Ombudsman's Office opened in Bishkek in February and immediately started receiving complaints from entrepreneurs, said Business Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan Robin Ord-Smith June 10. He spoke about his functional responsibilities and criteria for accepting complaints from businessmen.
He said the Business Ombudsman's Office works in accordance with Kyrgyz law and cannot process complaints that are being considered at the court. Complaints on events that occurred more than a year ago are not accepted, he added.
In the conditions of the pandemic, the office kept receiving the complaints, which were investigated in work from home mode, he said.
