One-man rally in support of George Floyd held in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - One-man rally was held today in Gorky park in Bishkek. It was announced in social networks earlier that a rally in support of murdered in USA George Floyd will be held on June 10 at 11.00 a.m. in Bishkek. As of 11.10 one person showed up at the rally.
Denis Reut was his name, who said he learned about the rally in local media.
"I wrote on my poster that authorities' violence has no borders. This means that everyone should respect the law," he said.
It was reported that organizer of the rally is Yntymak party. Leader of the party Jyldyzbek Turganov told AKIpress that they did not plan a rally but wanted to organize action.
"But people did not understand us correctly, so we decided to cancel the action," he said.
George Floyd died on May 25 after the police officer from Minneapolis kneeled on his neck for at least eight minutes while he lied at the road face down. After that protests and riots erupted in the USA.
