682.7 million soms envisaged for dialysis services in 2020 - Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund

AKIPRESS.COM - The Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund budget allocated 682.7 million soms in 2020 for payment of hemodialysis services. 4 state and 20 private centers provide dialysis services. To date, 1234 patients received 75,000 dialysis services since year beginning. 356.6 million soms were paid to hemodialysis centers for their services, said the first deputy chairman of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund Klara Oskombayeva at the briefing on June 16.
The Finance Ministry was instructed to allocate 75 million soms to the Compulsory Insurance Fund for payment of dialysis services to 174 patietns.
"All new patients were have been entered into the Compusory Insurance Fund e-database. All these patients will be transferred to budget hemodialysis as soon as parliament committee will make a decision," said Oskombayeva.
