AKIPRESS.COM - The nation-wide operative team for coronavirus fight on April 3 endorsed 3 scenarios of possible spread of COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan, candidate for Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said at the meeting of the majority coalition of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan yesterday. The 3 scenarios are supposed to end by June 30, he said.
The first scenario is mild coronavirus situation, when 801 COVID-19 cases were projected by June 30.
The second scenario is moderate coronavirus situation, when 4,960 COVID-19 cases were projected by June 30.
The third scenario is severe coronavirus situation, when 16,540 COVID-19 cases were projected by June 30.
Boronov said the situation is developing according to the moderate scenario.
"We took into account that the emergency situation was declared, work of companies and organizations was stopped timely. Economic activities were resumed since May 11 and 21. The 14-day incubation period expired and new cases are confirmed now," Boronov said.
He added that 70% of confirmed cases recovered up to now.
"To provide proper treatment to patients with COVID-19 and in view of international experience, the decision was made that hospitals will receive only patients with symptoms. Asymptomatic patients will remain in self-isolation at home under strict control, up to being guarded," Kubatbek Boronov said.
