MP suggests PM candidate Boronov to talk with Kumtor to raise funds for budget support

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Ziyadin Jamaldinov said at the session of parliament considering Kubatbek Boronov's candidacy for the Prime Minister on June 17 that he is taking office at a very difficult time in the country associated with the coronavirus and recession.
He suggested Boronov to work on lowering the fuel prices as promised by previous Prime Minister, but the promise was never kept.
"Second, you must negotiate with Kumtor as soon as possible to get money from it for budget support. Third, the water level in Toktogul dam is low. We should not think about the interests of other countries and think about our own interests in the first place. Starting now, we need to reduce water consumption to avoid hard times with electricity during winter," the MP said.
Boronov promised to take the MP's proposals into account.
